About Hayaty Diaries:

Founders, Kinzy Diab & Christina Shoucair

Hayaty Diaries, founded in 2022 by childhood best friends Kinzy Diab and Christina Shoucair, is a collective dedicated to showcasing contemporary women artists from the Arab World. This collaboration, fuelled by the Egyptian and Lebanese duo's deep love for creativity in all forms, provides an opportunity to share the stories of inspiring women artists resonating with this generation and beyond.

Our vision is to embrace the unique creative identities, varied modes of artistic expression, and rich cultural backgrounds that define our collaborating artists through curated online, physical selling exhibitions and interdisciplinary collaborations. Simultaneously, we highlight each artist's individuality while revealing the common threads that unite them—a shared love for authentic visual storytelling and a fearless approach to art-making.

Community building is at the core of our identity, as we take pride in fostering a space where all Arab creatives can freely express themselves and connect. We continuously seek and discover new talent, providing ongoing exposure through our social media presence and creating exhibiting and selling opportunities, enhancing their visibility to collectors and art enthusiasts worldwide.

Beyond our promotional efforts on Instagram, our selling exhibitions lie at the heart of our mission to spotlight the talent of this new generation of Arab women artists. Through curated exhibitions focused on specific themes that contemplate notions of womanhood, we aim to inspire fresh perspectives among our audiences within the region and the broader global context.
In December 2023, we collaborated with nine exceptional women artists from across the Arab World for our inaugural collective exhibition, "Through Their Eyes: Perspectives Unveiled," hosted at the gallery@oxo in London.
